New Beginnings and Self Renewal
“The dance of renewal, the dance that made world, was always danced here at the edge of things, on the brink, on the foggy coast.“
~Ursula Le Guin
When a chapter of our lives is coming to a close, we often experience a mix of emotions. Grief, excitement, confusion, happiness, fear, and more - all emotions have their place in times of transition and we must allow them all to coexist if we are to grow healthy into our next chapter of life. There are no “wrong” emotions, just uncomfortable ones and those have value too.
You do not need to know exactly what is coming or who you are becoming during a metamorphosis, all you must do is live fully through it. Allow every emotion and every thought to exist without judgement. Tune into your inner compass and let it guide you off the shore of what has come before and through the fog as you enter new waters. Your potential is great, let yourself grow, and don’t be afraid of the unknown.
Whatever is ahead, you have the ability to manage it. Everything you have been through up until this moment, every new experience, every loss, every triumph, all the challenges you have overcome and the problems you have solved have filled your inner well with wisdom and skill. Keep learning, keep growing, and trust yourself. It may be foggy but you will find your way. The future is yours, make it beautiful.
